In the dark future of the year 2118, the Factory reigns, numbing all emotions - until one day, a magical music box breaks the silence, and two souls risk it all for the freedom to dance. The short film is an artistic collaboration with the Freie Tanzkompagnie Kiel and combines elements of dance and science fiction. OCCASUS wins second award.

After receiving an initial award at the Bangalore Shorts Film Festival, the short film Occasus by Petja Pulkrabek has now won the second prize for "Best Cinematography" at the Norway Tamil Film Festival. We would like to thank everyone involved, our amazing team, as well as our sponsors, the Filmfoundation Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein and Nordmedia. And a very special thank you goes to our cinematographer, Sin Huh. The film will be available on our website in full length in due time.

MOVE THE NORTH: Connecting the North!

The festival Move the North, founded by ManusArts in 2019, creates cultural bridges between the cities of Hamburg, Copenhagen, and Malmö and brings together artists and creatives from all cultural sectors. Designed as a strategic networking platform for cultural exchange, international collaboration and co-productions, the festival produces and hosts cultural events in Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. Including for example, the Hamburg Summer Festivals: Nordic Summer Vibes in 2022, Hamburger Kultur International in 2021, or the concert series Nordic Music Vibes.
